Hi, I am very interested in trying th oxygen as I only heard good things about it ! I was told it is impossible to get here unless I go to a clinic when an attack starts which is just not possible of course ! I live in darwin , anything you can do ? What would be the cost ? Etc , thanks a lot for your help

Medical Oxygen Supplier said:

"Good morning,

I have been a member & supplier of Oxygen cylinders to CH sufferers since 2012. I just wanted to let everyone know that my CH clients have all reported back that the use of Oxygen to treat their pain has been like some sort of miracle drug. Most stop using all the painkillers/preventative drugs & just use the Oxygen.

I never heard of CH until a sufferer contacted me 2 years ago. It is a baffling, horrific condition that you suffer. The similarities between my clients is amazing & yet they are all very different in their own ways.

If you havent tried Oxygen as a treatment yet, please do. It doesn't have any of the side effects of the strong drugs that you try. I'm not just saying this because its a new sale for me, I genuinely want to help.

Supagas (Aeris Medical) has free delivery to most areas of Vic, Tas, NT, WA & SA. Cost is low compared to what some of the drugs cost that you use.
Give us a call on 1300 063 342 or Kay 0404 626 455"

Hello everyone , i have been suffering from cluster headaches for about 8 years now ! The first time was pretty scary and despite all the tests and scans ,no one could find what it was ! After heaps of research i was sure it was clusters ! In my case they last a few weeks and disappear for years but seem to be triggered by emotional challenges and stress so with a massive broken heart , needless to say they are back in force ! I have found an amazing doctor and he is trying to help me with the pain ! I started on maxalt wafers , needless to say that it did help but only after 30 to 45 minutes of excruating pain so we went for Imigran injections , what a relief , it works in 5 to 10 minutes max and the pain is gone but wow 140 dollars every 2 days ,I am feeling it ! Other issue is that it is hard to get anything in good old Darwin and after 2 weeks , the 6 chemist i went to see reckon that all the suppliers are out or won't be able to get any for weeks and with only 6 left at one or 2 attacks a day , I am starting to panic ! Out of everything those injections are the only thing that actually work for me ! Does anyone have any Tricks or advice on other pain relief that would help !i am at a loss here and not sure what to do next !

I feel your pain , how do u manage to find the injection refills ? Only thing that works for me but seem so hard to find and the 6 chemist i went to said all the suppliers were or for a few weeks sad I am freaking out

I think u have to pay ! 140 each for 2 here but they work a treat ! Only issue is , 6 of the chemist I have been to said the suppliers ran out and I am about to run out myself ,scary and not sure what to do

I live in darwin and I only have 4 injections left, apparently all the suppliers are out and won't be able to get new ones for 3 weeks which is useless to me ! It is the only thing that kills the attack in such a very small amount of time , can't get oxygen either except going to a clinic but what is the point , by the time I get there and I can't drive during an attack , it will be all over ! I have Maxalt wafers too but takes too long to act and the pain is unbearable ! Anything similar to Injections that works for any of u ?
