Ive never heard or thought of that idea before‚ any kind of releif or distraction is a good thing whilst being hammered so i will give it a go and if nothing a mouth full of gum might stop me swearing like a trooper

all is good(havnt had a headache for over three weeks!)but have been preparing for when the time bomb goes off again‚ thanks for the info‚ i never heard of zomig before‚ i know what you mean by expensive $30 for six tablets i wish we could let the ceo's of these drug companies feel our pain just for a little bit‚ hey if you bump into anna kournikova give her my love!

My neuro has put me onto topamax50mg and zomig2.5mg this morning‚
I have not been hit with ch for three and a half weeks(touch wood) but will keep you all posted as to how i go when i start using them

my last girlfriend thought i was captain rats when my last bout came on and she hit the road after only a few weeks (didnt help when i told her to "please just f#*K off" after she kept asking hows your head dear durring a attack) ch are nasty bastards and can ruin your life if you let them‚ hope all goes well good luck with your holiday enjoy.

Nice to know that they are winding down for you‚ this is my eighth day free of the suckers‚ i have been seeing neuro john graham at woywoy (formerly of gosford)‚i thiink you may be talking about proffessor james colebatch (he has the rep of being the number one man for ch in nsw)i really want to see him even tried to contact him yesterday after hearing he has active research programs going on‚ however i could only get through to his voice mail‚ im going to keep trying til i get to see him‚ he can be contacted on 02 93991000‚il keep you posted‚ is james colebatch the man you seen?

I have a similar story‚ i suffered ch for six years before bieng diagnosed‚ i cop my attacks on the left side bar one experience in 2002 i was in bathurst watching the super cars and cracked a beauty but it was on the right side(this really freaked me out and led me to be properly diagnosed)‚and maybe there is something in the air for us as my last bout started june 28th and touch wood i have not had one for six days.

Hey all‚
You want to be really samashed by ch(what the!)for me a little less intense attack leaves me white as a ghost‚tired‚drained of energy and wanting to pass out‚ I had a exgirlfriend with a nack for knowing when i was about to be smashed by a headache‚ she says she could see it in my eye‚she was allways right predicting them before i would feel them coming on‚ she was really good at helping me get through them too(to bad she is a money grubbing two stepping monkey)

Interesting line of thought going on here‚ i think a faulty hypothalamus is on the money‚ i dont suffer sleep apnea but notice when i wake to a ch the first thing i think of is(besides the thought that ive just been smashed in the head with a hammer from the inside out)that im not getting enought oxygen‚ i also suffer insomnia(especially on the meds)and when im doing okay with sleep ive had problems staying awake(zero'd out and feel asleep on a train standing up also fell asleep mid sentence whilst eating icecream etc)also ive had some disturbing sleepwalking expiriences.

I know a fifty six year old sufferer also met a sixty year old neuro who suffers and have heard stories of people in there sixtys‚seventys and eighties who still suffer‚ im thirty cop three cycles a year(average eight to ten weeks) with a few reminders inbetween and have done for the last fourteen years‚ i aint looking foreward to it either!

Hey all‚
Im not as fit as i used to be but over a three and a half year period i trained and studied taekwondo until back injuries forced me to settle down‚ i also did light weight training at home during this time and allways noticed (especially with the weight training) that about a hour or so after the exercise i would crack a beauty almost every time‚ unlike the ussual time cycles of ch it didn't seem to matter when i trained i allways got a headache after it! ‚ im used to ch's giving me a hammering(not really dont know how i havn't dropped dead from one yet) but it's allways bugged the shit out of me that every time i try to get healthier and do good for myself i pay the ultimate price.

LIKE FROSTY AND OLD BUD I WAS BORN SIX WEEKS PREMATURE WITH WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY SIDE AFFECT BIENG A LAZY LEFT EYE(THE CH SIDE)WITCH I HAD A OPPERATION ON AS A KID‚I HAVE A HISTORY OF LOWER BACK PROBLEMS‚ IVE ALSO MET TWO CH SUFFERERS IN PERSON AND FOUND IT ODD TO DISCOVER WE WERE ALL LEFT HANDED‚ ANY OTHER LEFTYS OUT THERE?

IVE BEEN LIVING WITH CH FOR FOURTEEN YEARS AND LIKE YOU HAVE BEEN PREPARED TO GIVE ANYTHING A GO WHEN THE HAMMERING STARTS‚ I HAVE TRIED LSD AND THE MM'S AND CAME TO THE FOLLOWING CONCLUSION‚ FOR ME THEY BOTH WORKED HOWEVER THERE IS NO WAY YOU'D BEAT A CYCLE WITH THEM‚ WITH THE SLEEP DEPREVATION‚DELUSIONS ETC CAUSED BY TAKING THEM WOULD PROBABLY LEAD TO YOUR DEATH BEFORE BEATING A CYCLE ALSO FOR ME IT DIDNT DO ME ANY FAVOURS WHEN MOST PEOPLE IN MY LIFE ALLREADY THOUGHT I WAS A CRAZY BASTARD JUST FROM SUFFERING CH I ONLY SEEMED TO CONFIRM THERE SUSSPICIONS WHEN THEY WOULD CATCH ME LAUGHING AT A DOORHANDLE THAT WOULD SEEM TO TURN BY ITSELF ETC. (GOTA ADMIT THAT SIDE OF IT WAS COOL).

THAT DOESENT EXACTLY TICKLE IT TO ONLY LASTS A COUPLE OF SECONDS AND IT HAPPENS IF IM BEING HAMMERED BY CH OR NOT BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO HOLD ANY SORT OF PATTERNS LIKE THE HEADACHES THEY FOR ME HAVE JUST HAPPENED HERE AND THERE.

( A ALLEDGED SIDE AFFECT OF METHYSERGIDE!) I AWOKE IN THE RECOVERY ROOM TO THE OLD OH MY GOD NOT AGAIN! MY F*#KING HEAD! BUT THANKS TO THE PETHIDINE THEY PUMPED ME FULL OF I ROLLED MY EYES INTO THE BACK OF MY HEAD AND WENT TO SLEEP AGAIN I AWOKE ABOUT HALF A HOUR LATER
AND IT WAS ALL OVER - IT WAS THE EASIEST HEADACHE I EVER BEAT.
