Anxiety about CH is perfectly normal, I mean who wouldn't fear this kind of pain?
But I'm yet to see any anxiety management stop CH attack. I guess the anxiety lessens when you know that CH won't kill you, that you've had scans and know it's not caused by something else (confirmed CH) then a person can move on and talk to a pain unit psychologist, or even friends and CH supporters (we love all supporters) and get some support. With practice and some abortive or preventative approaches up your sleeve, you may find the anxiety about CH tapers off and then you may simply experience the CH attacks, as dreadful as they are, rather than worry about them.
Try the D3 regimen, it's working for a lot of people, me included.
I fear CH returning, but no longer have anxiety about attacks as I know I can get on top of them with the D3 regimen.
