Cluster Headache Intensity Scale

  1. Slight twinge of the CH type of pain. Shadows.
  2. Normal headache type of intensity. Annoying, but life is still beautiful.
  3. Shadows are getting constant but can deal with it.
  4. Higher level of pain than normal headache. Interferes with normal life.
  5. Starting to get bad, want to be left alone to deal with it.
  6. Need to pace and move and drive your fist into your temple.
  7. Major non-stop pain, left feeling exhausted after it finally leaves.
  8. Immense paid, time to yell, bang head, rock, whatever works. Fear that it won't stop.
  9. The "Why me?" syndrome starts to set in.
  10. Screaming, head banging. Hospital trip. Depressed. Suicidal.

Have just had close to 2 days where if I felt the beginnings of a cluster I had imagrin nasal spray and they completely stopped the attack from coming on. Not this morning woke up to this one imagin tablet worked after 20 minutes and heat pack helped until then

Over waking up to these headaches within 1 and a 1/2 hours of going to sleep. Imagrin aborted it

Again waking up to a cluster twice tonight. I am noticing that this cold spell we are having is bringing them on imagrin aborted it again

Woke up and felt this cluster coming on had imagrin immediately and it aborted attack within 20 minutes

Woke up to this cluster nose blocked up big time the whole right side of face and head and neck and jaw throbbed a lot more imagrin tablet works but took awhile to start kicking in.

Imagrin and heat pack nose blocked up and upper jaw throbbing then into head.

Definitely a cluster right upper jaw throbbing all the way up the right side of my head. Using heat pack helps and imagrin nasal spray works faster than the tablets. Also took Deseril for prevention

This was a migraine not a cluster I took aspirin early but didn't work so took imagrin and it finally went away

Had imagrin nasal spray aborted attack within minutes

1 imagrin tablet and 1 Deseril. Started in top right jaw then into eye socket then head. Heat pack does give me some comfort until tablets kick in
