Cluster Headache Intensity Scale

  1. Slight twinge of the CH type of pain. Shadows.
  2. Normal headache type of intensity. Annoying, but life is still beautiful.
  3. Shadows are getting constant but can deal with it.
  4. Higher level of pain than normal headache. Interferes with normal life.
  5. Starting to get bad, want to be left alone to deal with it.
  6. Need to pace and move and drive your fist into your temple.
  7. Major non-stop pain, left feeling exhausted after it finally leaves.
  8. Immense paid, time to yell, bang head, rock, whatever works. Fear that it won't stop.
  9. The "Why me?" syndrome starts to set in.
  10. Screaming, head banging. Hospital trip. Depressed. Suicidal.

Aches and burning around temple, eye and back of neck, nausea feeling, bearable just uncomfortable, resting head in palm has little relief with minor throb sensation of discomfort and relief

Slow burning sensation behind left eye, around temple, left side of neck, left nostril discomfort minor, sweating, 8minutes has passed headache has intensified, 11.16pm time to use nurofen plus, 10minutes passed no sign of relief, this is the part where everything soft feels like concrete, 11.33pm relieving throbs, cooling sensation, nasal, neck, relief, eye and ear aches, slow relief feeling much better at 11.37pm with minor aches

Pulsing awareness throbbing for over 10seconds, ready to pop nurofen plus if needed, 10minutes passed, thumbs up

Slight pain on left side of neck, left side of face around eye burning sensation, 7.38pm taken 2 neurofen zavance, sometimes works like magic, other times no effect at all, sweating due to fear of minor attack may intensify, 10 minutes later, painkiller seems to be relieving for now. Still slight ache on side of neck.
